Its time to get bloody, shall we??

Although these past months we haven't had any big kills or server firsts, we had quite a lot of applications and we would like to thank everyone - even the ones we eventually denied - for their enthusiasm and the time they ’ve spent to fill in our form and answer all our questions. Our plan for Cata  is to start lvling as soon as it will be released and our goal is to manage reaching level 85  in a maximum of 4 or 5 days in order to start our first 10-man Raid. When more players reach level 85, we will create a second 10-man raid and according to our progress and the people we’ll have we will decide what our next step will be. If we manage to find 35-40 people that can devote themselves to play with us 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 20.00 to 00.00 CET Timezone, we will examine going for 25-man raids. If that is not the case, we will stick with 10-man raiding trying to do our best. We know that since 2006 that we were created, we lowered our raid players from 40 to 25 as Blizzard changed the game and now it surely feels a bit strange going first with 10-man raids. The truth is thought that a lot depend on the quality of the players you get to play with. I am sorry to say that although we received (and we are still receiving) a lot of applications every week, only 4 or 5 of them are the material we need in order to make our plans successful.

As Cataclysm feels so near nowadays, we have re-opened some slots as we made some clarifications considering who will be able to raid with us in the expansion and who is going to play casually. Below, you can see the classes and the spots we are currently looking for. Before you apply please make sure you spend enough of your time to write your application, as it is a first picture for us for you as an individual. Remember there are actually people reading what you have written… so please do think about what you write in your application. Gear is not that important as in just one month we will be probably replacing our epics with greens, however it does show how devoted you are in this game. Even if you are not that well geared, please make an application that will give us the impression we seek. It’s in your hands to make us read again and again an application or....delete it right away and send our "decline" message. What we are asking for the most is your devotion... and even through some words, we can understand more than enough for someone….
Someone that will enter Samurai, will find very well organized raids, with a loot system that awards the best players and a community that plays together for 4 years now, always seeking ...KILLS (see our page for more info)

PvP Info

Also, we are going expand our activities in this expansion, with a new sub-team we organize, a PVP Team with the codename ANBU. ANBU will play only over the weekends in Rated Battlegrounds, and as a start we are seeking people to form a 15 member team (10-12 dpsers + 3-5 healers) that will play Warsong Gulch (10), Arathi Basin (15), Eye of the Storm (15) & Strand of the Ancients (15).
ANBU will play with specific plans and guidance over our TeamSpeak 3 Server and will be able to equip themselves with PvE Rewards by joining our “farm” runs, since they will be focusing on PvP Matches. There is also an option of participating in special RP Events we have in mind, but we’ll give you more details when we talk together on our TS.
In the case that you feel very hardcore as a gamer, you can play in both the PvE and PvP Teams, and fill in that way your entire week with events.

Take note that we need players with high PvP experience to join this special team, and ratings that prove that u are capable to .... kill anyone, anywhere.
Ps

Playing 4 times per week (if u are a PvEr only), and especially these days (and not for example weekends - where only ANBU will play), feels for us like going for a walk in the park. In the past we used to play for years 7 out of 7 days per week so if 4 days seems too hard for u... then we are definitely not the guild for you .... 

Small status update

Our progress atm is: 12/12 ICC10HM (12/12 in normal mode ofc), 11/12 ICC25HM (12/12 in normal mode ofc)  and 1/1 RS10HM(1/1 in normal mode ofc). Last week we improved our records but we have to say that these kills are nothing but practice for us towards Cataclysm. We don't call them progress kills, but instead just kills for the books, just for history. Our main focus remains to test some more people, since we still have some needs in specific classes (check on the right, in the Guild Ads box) in order to strenghen our team for Cataclysm, where...the "real" fun will start. Gz for the latest kills to our members ofc, but our focus is only towards the future and not kills like that. With buffs and "gifts" from Blizzard.
The fact is that we had quite a late start for the current content, because we started playing again some months ago and we had to re-create our raiding team from scratch. Nevetheless we are very happy with the response we had from the server as just during the last month we had over 59 applications and we like the mature way of raiding the most of the guilds have in the server. Ok we do have some that aren't that mature, but...are all the fruits of a tree...good everytime? NP, we will keep on doing what we have been doing in the past. Take the sick fruits down gently, and smash them with our boots. Orcish boots...
